215 Payne St, located in Alexandria’s historic Parker-Gray district, has been housing local businesses since 1897, including the Alexandria Laundry Co., Southern Dry Cleaning and Chec Soda and Refrigeration. The mission was to preserve the historic property's unique features while converting to a modern, wellness-focused coworking space.
As a design-build project, Pizzano Contractors worked closely with the owners and design team to ensure that the desired aesthetic was achieved while remaining within budget. The Link features an indoor/outdoor gym, sauna, outdoor work cabanas, private offices, conference rooms, virtual reality equipment, and a dedicated podcast studio. Exposed beams and brick accent the modern finishes to create a welcoming space that combines old and new.
