This Multi-Family Residential Space needed renovations of the common areas and corridors in its historic 1925 building located in a prime Georgetown area to provide comfort and functionality to its tenants.
The project included replacing unit doors, installing new baseboards and crown molding, framing new ceilings with updated lighting and fire alarms, and installing custom carpeting. Throughout, protective measures such as HEPA filter vacuums, air scrubbers, and plastic partitioning ensured tenant safety, while lead testing confirmed air quality standards were met. The building’s HVAC system was fully modernized, improving energy efficiency and comfort. The project also addressed lead and asbestos hazards, with all work adhering to health and safety regulations.
“The team from Pizzano were very engaged with our sustainability values and went to great lengths to help us find ways to reuse and recycle as much as possible.”
