Aveda Institute, an eco-conscious, wellness-oriented alternative to traditional beauty schools, was opening a new 10,000 square foot location at Ballston Commons. Pizzano Contractors was selected, and worked with Aveda and Diag Studios through the preconstruction process to deliver a landmark space.
The Aveda Arts & Science Institute at Ballston Commons features a specialty reflector epoxy flooring system, specialty lighting, glass, and millwork throughout. Aveda branding components were incorporated through the design, most notably in the retail area.
“The team from Pizzano were very engaged with our sustainability values and went to great lengths to help us find ways to reuse and recycle as much as possible.”
