Celebrating Leadership: Will Pizzano Named to Virginia Business Forty Under 40

Steve Owens
Chief Growth Officer

Pizzano Contractors is proud to share that Will Pizzano, our Director of Pre-Construction, has been named to the Virginia Business Forty Under 40 — an award that spotlights the next generation of leaders making a real difference in Virginia's business community and beyond.

Since joining Pizzano Contractors full-time in 2015, Will has played a transformative role in the company’s growth. Over the past eight years, he has advanced from Assistant Project Manager to Director of Pre-Construction, where he now leads estimating strategy, guides clients through the earliest phases of project planning, and drives business development.

One of Will’s most significant contributions was launching the company’s in-house pre-construction department. What began as a one-person initiative has grown by more than 400% under his leadership and now represents one of the company’s most vital business units, contributing to more than half of the firm’s annual revenue. In 2025 alone, Will helped generate approximately $60 million in revenue, positioning Pizzano Contractors as a strategic advisor and trusted partner for complex construction projects.

Will has also played a key role in delivering award-winning projects, including recognition from NAIOP Northern Virginia and the American Institute of Architects Northern Virginia for historic preservation and architectural excellence.

Beyond his professional achievements, Will is deeply committed to community service. He serves on the board of the Joey Pizzano Memorial Fund, which supports inclusive recreation, employment opportunities, and social programs for adults with disabilities.

Through his leadership, innovation, and dedication to community impact, Will embodies the spirit of the Forty Under 40 recognition. Pizzano Contractors congratulates him on this well-deserved honor.
